| Summary: The territory of Krajina Canton used to be one of the most malaria-affected areas and there was a huge antimalaria campaign in 1947. Owing to a journal made by an anonymous writer of chronicles, the author reveals the spread of malaria in the area of Krajina Canton in 1946 and adds details on fighting the disease: residual DDT spraying, control of gamete-carrier and atrebrin treatment. The journal informs us on the spread of mosquitoes, gamete-carriers and types of malaria plasmodia in the controlled group of people, as well as on the epidemiological situation of malaria in the area of Krajina Canton in 1948.
