People enormously believed in medicinal power obtained from the nature so many plants became the symbols of God and Goddess of healing and Medicine. Some of those herbal drugs proved to be useful and found their way into the contemporary pharmacotherapy.
Pharmaceutical companies and their laboratories now do most of their work involved in searching for new active substances from the herbs, used for centuries in traditional and ethno pharmacy.
