Summary: This paper deals with 94 cases of children having different chronic diseases, showing that proper registration may be a part of necessary prevention. This is the way to increase efficiency, improve the quality of treatment and consequently the quality of life of patients themselves and of their families as well. The survey of registration cards of sick children shows the records made by doctors and nurses within the period of two years. Some children were not registered, because they were treated by other doctors or didn’t come regularly. The evidence shows the increase of non-infectious chronic diseases, especially eating disorders (29 or 30.85%), bronchial asthma (23 or 24.47%) and psychological disturbance (6 or 6.38%). The age range of patients is 9-21.Good preventive measures, increased number of preventive check ups and check ups at patients’ request, as well as back up and support to patients and their families lead to the improvement of the quality of life of patients and their families, which is the goal of primary health care. Some children are directed to the higher levels of health care, depending upon the demands of the basic disease. Supportive and warm relations with the patients and their families is the basis of good work.
