Summary:
The aim of our work is to investigate frequency of hearing disorders and
retard psycho-motorical-PM development of children before they start
school education. We accent the importance of early diagnosis and
rehabilitation of those children. All methods are from defectologist
diagnosis. Results of research show us that from whole group of 725
children, 33 (4,55%) had some of described disorders while 17 (2.34 %)
are PM retarded. Conclusions: Society needs early detection and
diagnoses of children with special needs because the rehabilitation
will come at the right time. If it comes late, those children loose
“useful time” for rehabilitation, especially when they have hearing
disorders, where the amplification and hearing apparatus are necessary.
Family is the one of the most important member of the rehabilitation
team and needs education, too. With multilevel access, children with
special needs will have better society integration and quality life.
Key words: children with special needs, early detection and
diagnosis, early rehabilitation |
