Summary: Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is a
diagnosis with a number of diagnostic mistakes. It is thanks to its
diverse symptoms that it mimics various disorders and abnormalities. If
only symptom analysis and direct physical examination are used, the
correct diagnosis can be given with 50% of accuracy. Just as it appears
that it is easy to make the diagnosis, the ectopic pregnancy can surprise
even an experienced gynaecologist thanks to its diversity. The quality and
promptness in diagnosing are provided by using the trans-vaginal
ultrasound and coloured Doppler's ultrasound, while the biochemical
markers enable us to treat the ectopic pregnancy not only surgically, but
