Prehospital Treatment of Anaphylactic Reactions

  Summary:
Anaphylactic shock is urgent situation with dramatic symptomatology and often with lethal outcome. It grows as a result of allergic reaction type I. It progresses within a short interval and its outcome depends on early diagnosis and timely reaction. The aim of this work is to signify the meaning and consequences of anaphylaxis, as well as the meaning of timely, clearly defined and specific therapy of this condition in the Emergency Department. Anaphylaxis is a multiple clinical syndrome arising from a series of cascade processes caused by environmental factors - allergen entry.
