Oral Intubation in Face Injury

Summary:
This paper presents a problem of oral intubation in a patient with face injury. It indicates hipovolemic and unconscious condition, obstruction of upper respiratory tract and a possibility for pulmonary aspiration of blood and gastric contents. There is a description of a successful emergency oral intubation performed without anaesthesia.
