| Summary: In this
reviewal article regarding basic of anatomy, phisiology,
pathophisiology blood flow through carotides and veretbral arteries.
It is shown pathology, clinical picture and diagnostic procedures
patients suffering of carotides and vertebral diseases. The article
explains indications and surgical procedures in therapy these
disorders. Key words: carotid arteri s diseases, diagnosis, carotid endarterectomies
